We are seeking a highly skilled Maritime Solution Architect with experience in hydrographic, geospatial, and digital navigation technologies.
Skills.
The ideal candidate will have a background in designing and implementing innovative maritime technology solutions, working with government and defence stakeholders, and integrating cloud-based and containerised systems.
- Design and implement scalable maritime technology solutions that enhance data interoperability and navigation capabilities.
- Provide strategic architecture guidance for modernising maritime digital services.
- Work closely with product teams to support user-centered technology development.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for geospatial and hydrographic data.
- Contribute to the development of next-generation marine data platforms.
Experience.
Desirable Skills
- Proven expertise in maritime digital transformation and geospatial data systems.
- Experience in cloud deployment, containerised solutions, API design, and CI/CD.
- Strong understanding of hydrographic data processing, navigation applications, and S-100 standards.
- Familiarity with defence, public sector, or maritime regulatory bodies.
- Background in marine engineering, oceanography, or maritime navigation systems.
- Experience working on MOD, Navy, or Hydrographic Office projects.
- Understanding of GIS platforms such as QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, or 3D geospatial visualisation.
