Our Business

Digi2al provides consulting services, digital software solutions and digital transformation services to multiple sectors. We are UK-owned and UK-based.

Key Principles

Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Modern slavery is a term used to encompass slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, bonded and child labour and human trafficking. Human trafficking is where a person arranges or facilitates the travel of another person with a view to that person being exploited. Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights.

Principles

Digi2al Ltd is a company that expects everyone working with us or on our behalf to support and uphold the defined measures to safeguard against modern slavery. The following principles are designed to:

  1. Identify and assess potential risk areas in our business and supply chains.
  2. Reduce the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our business and supply chains.
  3. Monitor potential risk areas in our business and supply chains.
  4. Provide adequate protection for whistleblowers.
  • We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in our organisation and our supply chains.
  • The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our organisation or supply chain is the responsibility of all those working for Digi2al or on our behalf.
  • Digi2al conducts supplier due diligence audits on our existing suppliers to ensure that they have robust Modern Slavery policies in place
  • Workers must not engage in, facilitate or fail to report any activity that might lead to, or suggest, a breach of this policy.
  • Whistleblowers are protected through our confidential whistleblowing policy.
  • If we find that other individuals or organisations working on our behalf have breached policy we will take appropriate action. This may range from considering the possibility of breaches being remediated and whether that might represent the best outcome for those individuals impacted by the breach to terminating such relationships.

Staff Training

Digi2al conduct annual training with our staff to ensure that they:

  • Understand what is meant by Modern Slavery
  • Can identify indicators and warnings of slavery and human trafficking
  • Know how to respond if they suspect slavery or human trafficking

Review

Our modern slavery statement is reviewed annually to evaluate its effectiveness in ensuring that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in our core business or supply chain. The review areas are:

  • Risk Assessments. Risk assessments are carried out to review any additional risk that may have been introduced by changes to:
    • our business model
    • our recruitment processes
    • our supply chain
  • Supply Chain Transparency. Annual review and due diligence on suppliers to ensure that they have modern slavery policies and processes in place.
  • Maintaining awareness of indicators and trends in Modern Slavery. To ensure that we are well placed to identify, report and act on concerns. Where this necessitates changes to the statement, these are discussed and approved at board level.
